Project – Falmer Sport Pavillion

Contract – Design and build

Nature of works – A complex project with many challenges including submain cable runs, communications and fire alarm link cables run back to the main University campus. In all the changing rooms the ceiling have been exposed, so meticulous attention was required to co-ordinate the mechanical pipework, ventilation, electrical conduits, and lighting.

A number of access control systems and security systems including CCTV have been installed.

Scene setting controls have been installed to the meeting room areas complete with LED low energy lighting throughout.

A complex design of PV panels had to be meticulously installed around mechanical plant on the roof of the building.

This was the first contract undertaken with RB Construction Group and N.Smith Electrical which resulted in a great success all round.
